Gokhale education Society is one of the lead and quality education institutes in India. It is established in the year 1918. The Society is named after Namdar Gopal Krishan Gokhale- Guru of Mahatma Gandhi. It is one of the lead educational trusts with a standing of over 98 years.
The society is internationally recognized for the service rendered towards upliftment of the tribal and adivasi. The society is committed to the empowerment of students through education particularly higher education, vocational and professional courses.
The Society runs a network of preprimary, primary units, secondary units, junior college units, senior college units , research centers, agriculture / technical training centers, specialized institutions , home science unit, engineering , allied health science college, ashram shala, training centers, gurukul, etc spread over different parts of Maharashtra. The society has 4 zones and 16 centers.
There are more than 1, 00,000 students and 3000 plus staff members involved in different educational activities. The staff is well qualified and more than 100 are PhD and M Phil holders. It is a Society that is entirely managed by teachers and as such has been able to uphold the central values of educational system.
The society has to its credit as recipient of ISO 9001-2008 certification for all its schools and colleges.
